About Sandhill Design Works

A long time ago, in a galaxy far far away.... No, just kidding!

Seriously though. Here's the scoop: Sandhill Design Works (dba Sandhill Enterprises LLC) started over a decade and a half ago when Anne wanted to build a web site for her fledgling decorative arts business, Dragonfly Decorative Arts. The artsy business didn't last long, mostly because of costly liability insurance, but the bug for designing web sites had bitten.

One thing led to another and she continued to learn about markup, styling, usability, and coding and built more web sites for herself and for clients. Many have come and gone over the years, but the landscape of the Internet and good web design keeps evolving. Keeping abreast of changes and new best practices is quite a challenge. Once in awhile, on special projects, other designers and coders are brought in to assist with the workload. So that's why we say "we". No one is an island, and the field of web design and development sometimes requires very specialized, talented folks that are expert in their niche.
